Location: Amazon Rainforest.

<--- This is an image of South America. As you can see, the parts shaded in green represent the Amazon Rainforest. The Amazon is also known as Amizonia, or the Amazon Jungle. It covers most of the Amazon Basin of South America. The Amazon is located 2 or 4 degrees south of Equator. As it is located so close to the Equator, it makes it a Tropical Rainforest as apposed to a Temperate Rainforest or a Fossil Rainforest.

The image below is a map of the world, and the places that are shaded in in green are representing the different tropical rainforest of the world. As you know, the Amazon is located in South America, and if you look at South America on the map below you can see that the rainforest here, being the Amazon, is probably the biggest in the world.
